• He took me back to his neighbour’s house where I first met his family. We had dinner and afterwards he popped the question. After going to see my parents (of course my dad already knew because Brad asked him for his blessing weeks prior) to tell them the news, my best friend had planned a surprise engagement party for us.

Besides getting hitched, what was each of your favourite parts about the day?

• Taylor: getting ready with all the girls the morning of and walking down the aisle with my dad
• Brad : partying with our friends and family at the reception
