"Celebrating life and love in art is just the beginning..."
From the moment i hop out of bed in the morning (yep i’m one of those morning people) i am excited to be working with fabulous couples to celebrate their love story the artwork we create together.

As a full service wedding photographer, I am thrilled to be able to help you create the wedding of your dreams during every part of the process from first consult through artwork delivery and beyond.

Rebecca Nash Photography was created in 2009 but it wasn’t until 2010 that the company really found it’s niche.
Since it’s inception, Rebecca Nash Photography has grown to become a luxury wedding photography studio in London, Ontario fueled by passion for the art and for helping couples build a marriage that will last.
HOW DID YOU GET INTO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY?
Honestly, I kinda stumbled into it.
A friend of my (now) husband’s was getting married and i was going to be attending the wedding. I had just started my business and was definitely still learning but their photographer (a family friend) was possibly not going to make it to the wedding as his mother was in hospital and very unwell.
I said yes in a heartbeat, not knowing if I could pull it off or not, because I had fallen in love with photography and had long loved weddings and debated careers in Bridal Gown Designing, Wedding Planning, or Bridal Hair & Makeup.
In the end their photographer did make it but asked me to shoot along side him. That day I fell in love with wedding photography and never looked back.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF THE WEDDING DAY TO CAPTURE?
Wait? I only get to pick one? But there are so many I love!
I guess it would be bride and groom creative portraits then. This is the time in the day when i am able to pull the couple away from all the guests and all the busy for just a little bit.
You see the couple relax a little and become their most true selves with each other.
I love seeing the ways they look into each others eyes, the wait they wisper things to each other, the way they smile and laugh together.
WHAT IS THE MOST AWKWARD MOMENT YOU’VE EXPERIENCED WHILE ON THE JOB?
I am blessed to have not had many awkward situations to deal with as of yet (knock on wood). Does getting so excited about a wedding that you show up a day early (and walk into another wedding) count?
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE VENUE AND WHY?
Oh dang – could you ask any harder questions?
There are a lot of great venues around that i love working with.
Really, my favourite venue is any one that i can walk into on the wedding day, take a look around and think, wow – this place really suits the couple.
By the time we get to the wedding i have already been working with most couples for 12-18months so i’ve gotten to know their personalities, style and taste a bit.
NIKON OR CANON?
I use nikon but I’m not big on the debate between nikon & canon.
It’s the 6 inches behind the camera that matter most.
WHAT IS YOUR DREAM LOCATION TO SHOOT A WEDDING?
A castle!
I love the idea of a fairy tale wedding set indoors or outdoors at a beautiful old castle. There is something about the elegance, the romance, the history, the architecture, and the total fairy tale style wedding that I adore.
Total hopeless romantic alert much?
AS A PHOTOGRAPHER, WHAT IS ONE IDEA OR THING YOU HAVE WANTED TO DO WITH A CLIENT, BUT HAVENT YET?
I am going to have to go with a wedding (or at least bridal portrait session) in the middle of a open field with horses! I just adore horses and see this long harvest table with beautiful linens, table settings and calligraphy décor and a bride being led in on horseback
IF YOU COULD SHOOT ANY CELEBRITY WEDDING (PAST, PRESENT OR FUTURE), WHO WOULD BE THE LUCKY COUPLE?
Again, a tough question but i would have to go with Will & Kate, the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge, on this one.
I love their modern elegant style. I would love to have even a tenth of Kate’s style and grace.
They have made the Monarchy seems so much more up to date and personable in a lot of ways.
WHAT’S THE BIGGEST LESSON YOU’VE LEARNED, AND WOULD PASS ALONG TO OTHER NEW WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS JUST GETTING STARTED?
Ask a lot of questions, then ask some more.
The more you know about what is happening with a couple and their wedding day the better you will be able to serve them. At the end of the day, the photos will reflect more of that connection and caring which is what the couple will remember you for.
WHAT TIPS OR ADVICE CAN YOU GIVE TO COUPLES WHO ARE LOOKING TO HIRE A PHOTOGRAPHER TO COVER THEIR BIG DAY?
Please, keep in mind that…
1) this is one of the vendors you will be spending the most time (and likely money) with over the year before your wedding day so personality really does matter. Make sure you are comfortable.
2) You often get what you pay for.
The most expensive photographer is not always the best but more often than not, they provide something in artistry, products or service that the others do not. Consider where your photographs fall on your list of priorities before setting your budget.
3) When the day is done and your guest have all gone home – your flowers are gone, your décor has been returned, your food has been eaten – the photographs are the only thing you have left to remember and share the day with. Make sure you LOVE them.
